About & Contact
Cooking, for me, is a form of escapism and self-expression and I have come to love it over recent years; to be honest I’m pretty much obsessed by all things foodie and regularly have my head stuck in some kind of cookery book or reading an interesting food related article on-line! I strive to become a better cook so that I can make my friends and family happy by giving them lots of lovely treats to eat! I also try to do as much healthy cooking as possible and experiment by making low-fat tasty food that isn’t at all boring and is full of flavour!
I am a massive fan of all things LOCAL – I try to use local produce where possible and support local businesses and producers. We are spoilt for choice, not only in Northamptonshire but in the UK in general, for fantastic, fresh, local produce and artisan producers and suppliers. I think we need to spend more time celebrating the foodie wealth that the United Kingdom has to offer.
In this blog I will share some of my recipes, or new recipes that I have tried as well as reviewing good places to eat and drink in Northamptonshire (where I live) and further afield.
I hope you enjoy my blog; thank you for stopping by and please feel free to comment and share!
